Loves & Passions
I love being married and being a mom. I love our family time, family vacations and family camp at Hickory Hill. I also love one-on-one time with my husband and our children. I want children to know that they can grow up with God and turn to him for everything in their lives.
Life changing moment
Probably when I married Gary and became a mom. When we got married I became a stepmom with two children. Even though they did not live with us, they were very much a part of our lives. And then when our children were born, Matt and then Jamie were moments I will never forget and having children has changed our lives forever – for the better.
Favorite Bible verse
At different times in my life the Lord gives me a verse to cling onto. I have so many I like, but if I had to say one, I would say John 15:5 – because right now I need to depend completely on Him for the ministry.
What I want my legacy to be
Legacy sounds like I am dead or gone! When people talk or think about Children’s Ministry at Journey, the first thing that I would want to come out of their mouths is that there is sound Bible teaching and training there. Also, that we care about families and raising children in the Lord.
People who had a significant impact on my life
There have been so many people in my life that impacted me. The Lord placed someone in my life to bring me to this church and to lead me to Christ. She also showed me how to parent through the Word and I saw the gift of faith and prayer. The Lord has blessed me with other women in my life that have shown me the power of prayer and the blessing of having faith in our Lord.
People would be surprised to know that …
I used to program CNC Robots before my son was born.
Family
Married to Gary (15 years in May 2007) and we have two children, Matt and Jamie. I also have a stepson, Nick, and a stepdaughter and son-in-law, Katie and Matt Lagnese.
Favorite sports team & music style
I guess my favorite baseball team is Cleveland Indians since I am from Cleveland. My favorite music is Christian music.
Education
Certificate in Med/Large Computers from Lakeland Community College in OH.
