1st grade through 6th grade classes during our Sunday School hour (9:00 – 10:00)
At the end of Sunday School, your child joins you for the beginning of our Worship Gathering, which begins at 10:15.
1st – 3rd grade: This year the 1st-3rd grade children are studying God's Promises. Class begins with a time of worship through music, followed by interactive teaching, and then the children will go into small groups by gender. In these small groups, the teacher can form a closer relationship with the children, confirm that they understood what was taught, and discover together how this impacts their lives.
4th- 6th grade: This year the 4th-6th graders are learning what it means to be like Jesus. The first half-hour is a time of interactive teaching, which is followed by a half-hour in small groups by gender. During this time bonds are formed, the lesson is discussed, and life application is drawn out.
1st grade through 3rd grade class during our Worship Gathering
We value families, and we value families worshipping together. Children who are in first grade and older join their families for the beginning of the Worship Gathering. The 1st through 3rd grade children are then excused to go to their Churchtime class. The children have a three-year adventure to go through the entire bible.
