Breakfast in the Park, September
This event provides West Siders and friends with an opportunity to enjoy a pancake breakfast served outdoors at the Longhouse shelter at Seneca Park. Following breakfast, some people visit the Seneca park zoo, hike the trails or just relax and visit with friends.
Lip-Sync Superstars, November
This fun-filled evening event features any number of West Siders who have been known to lip-sync such well known artists as The Temptations, Judy Garland, The Monkees, The Von Trapp Family Singers, Ray Charles, Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye, Gladys Knight and the Pips, and more.
Refreshments are provided following the Lip-Sync concert.
Saturday Night at the Movies, February
This event is designed for children and adults of all ages and is intended to combat “cabin fever”. A G-rated movie is shown. Drinks and popcorn from an old fashioned movie time popcorn maker and cart are provided.
Fishing Derby, June
This event, designed for children ages 14 and under takes place at Willow Pond Aqua Farm, 3 miles east of Canandaigua.All children are supervised as they fish offshore in man-made ponds that are stocked with hard-fighting large and small mouth bass, trout and catfish. The fishing derby is followed by an awards ceremony and lunch is provided.
